It's a helicopter, the sikorsky Uh-60 Blackhawk. I was obliged to remove the textures from cgtextures but you can replace the textures by any scratches or metal textures, the bump is automatic with coloramp. In the file, I've add some drivers for control the helicopter and some bones.
This reminds me of the Arma 2 and 3 games.. Great model and texturing!
Très bon travail!
Great work! Do you have any tips on realistic texturing? This is photorealistic.
Thanks, For a realistic texturing I try to add a lot of dirt and scratches. Using several layers of textures allow you get something good pretty quickly. ;) You can play with the coloramps for have a good render. I hope I have helped you :)
That helps a lot actually. I have been experimenting with dirt quite a bit. Do you usually add a dirt map with an alpha layer?
hi, great model mate. is it OK if i take your main rotor an put it to my model i'm currently working on? i tried to model the rotor myself but i find it to be beyond my skills ATM. or at least, it would take me ages to make it. ;-)
here it is, mate: http://www.blendswap.com/blends/view/71929 . thx again for the rotor... ;-)
I used this model in my Sci Fi trailer! Finally got a photorealistic shot. Love the details! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s9sRuyX_u0M
Can you add links to the textures that are missing in the description. Thanks
Great model! downloaded for personal use to learn aircraft rigging and implementation of drivers as most of the tuts out there are mostly for humans and the ones on mechanical rigs are very basic and/or limited
i am making a film for youtube which will be monetized and maybe the Edinburgh film festival and i was wondering if i could possibly use your model, you will be given credit.
Great model since I don't really know what im doing could I get some help how do I get the tail rotor to rotate with the main rotor? Any help would be appreciated thanks!
Best model of a UH-60 I've seen so far outside of a commercial package. I'm adapting it for use in DAZ Studio as I type this.
