I begun practicing detailed texturing and UV Mapping and this it my first out come
All that's needed is the virtual dust to blow off them and they (the books) are complete!! They look really good. well done :-)
Looks pretty nice, lots of unnamed Materials and Planes though (all the Lighting).
I like to tag my lights as Key, Fill, and so on. Also an Empty makes a good parent for them (I usually just tag it 'Lighting') and that makes the outliner easier to navigate.
Good idea to use a brick texture for the pages, or perhaps (I'm not sure) a little lazy.
It looks like all of the detail comes from textures, procedurals can be very useful too.
Most importantly, consider using Displacement (meaning either Bump or Normal maps). This is a surprisingly hard thing to master but I think it really makes a big difference.
Once you've got the hang of Displacement, then Spec maps (for greasy thumb marks and so on) will be really easy. Your presentation was pretty good, you've got the clay renders in the picture and it's even the right size too (I always forget that particular bit).
I would please appreciate comment from those who download it. Want to know if i am doing good :)
