    Thanks, nice model.

    It's interesting to see that Germany has found a simple way to tell you which town you are leaving as you enter the next one. Are these yellow signs standard all over Germany? Do they have them for villages as well?

    I lived for over a year in Germany and have been back many times, but I confess I only remember the blue street name signs on the tall posts.

    Yup this is the german standard design for signs, even for little villages :)

    I am going to use one of these signs on a birthday card for a German friend. I've got four days to work out what to write on it :-)
