This is really cool and the dune buggy model is awesome, but I noticed an issue with the shocks. They work great when I simply move the cube left and right on the terrain, but when I move the cube down the springs intersect the piece beneath them instead of compressing. Also when I rotate the cube for driving up or down hills the shocks become misaligned too and don't react as expected anymore. I'm using 2.71 for testing. -Chris
Hey,
Yes, you're correct about that... there are actually several ways you could move the cube where the rig wouldn't work... if you try to lift it up, for instance, or drag the car past the edge of the plane. This was really just meant as a demonstration of the technique. However, you should be able to adapt this model/rig for scenes with a little tweaking. Let me know if you have any questions... thanks!
