Textures were created with Substance Painter so you get corresponding node setup for use with PBR textures. Credits for PBR shader go to: Jason - https://jtheninja.wordpress.com/2014/09/27/blender-cycles-simple-pbr-shader/ Matthieu Barbie - https://matthieubarbie.wordpress.com/2015/01/12/pbr_shader-1-75-for-blender-2-73-documentation/
The file is large because there are sets of 4k textures for barrel, slider, handle, plastic grip, magazine and bullets each. At least you can bring the camera pretty close, :-).
Enjoy!
I don't know why then, but I only see the purple/pink colour like you'll get when you use an image texture in your nodes without anything in it.
try to re-select images in texture nodes, see if they're present in file at least. I'll take a look into it when I get home from work.
StillCounting, I think I just realized what's wrong. did you plug in a texture into an environmental lighting slot? I left it blank in uploaded file due to copyright stuff. I think that's what's giving you purple colors. setup HDRI lighting and tell me if it worked...
Yeah that did the trick, thanks for the reply man. I just really wanted to analyse your materials cause I often struggle with them, so thanks a lot :)
very nice model indeed
I have a question tho, so you can use it in any circumstances and give credit to the author but not for any comercial use? a comercial use isnt included in that "any purpose" ?
That's just perfect, one of the best Desert Eagle model for me
