i make this model for free, this is my first i post my work in blendswap. And sorry if my english is bad... hope you enjoy guys.
Nice extensive review, not many people give them, Mziemys is the only person i can remember who does
Thanks about the comment, and the actually while i do this project i dont to care about the lighting point, just make the paint reflection of the car's material looks perfect for me.
Nice quality. One word about the car paint: "reptilian." As befits a viper
hello guys, this work is very nice. If I want to use it should i do the material myself? Thanks
I like it. You're sketchfab model hasn't been published yet though, so we can't see it.
I do have a few observations of where you can improve. The taillights are a bit off. There is supposed to be basically a flat area all around and then it gets indented and scaled down with the innermost part being white. Instead, you have just indented it and called it good which still looks fine, but not quite realistic.
Next, your tires need work, particularly the tread. Perhaps you knew this already.
The front grill is a bit more simplistic than the real thing. If you're still learning like me, it's fine, keep it simple.
And lastly, the headlights have a light strip around most of the edge. You could add this in to give it more realism. Also, the real car seems to have only one headlight and yours has two. Perhaps I'm just looking at different references than you were, though.
Overall I think you did a good job with the general shape of the car. It's high poly, but not outrageously high poly. I also like that you included the low poly base mesh as well. I also like your car paint shader. I may steal it :D. I'll give credit of course if I do.
