A vautled corridor, I started this to practice UV mapping, still struggling with it. Cant get the bricks to line up when they go round a corner. But hey its nearly there. Any crits or tips much appreciated.
DragonWhisperer, if you're asking are you able to use them in BGE, I don't know. If you're asking are you allowed to use them in BGE then sure go ahead.
Did you start with a reference grid, something like this? https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Grid-Texture-for-Prim-Texture-Tests/95455?id=95455&slug=Grid-Texture-for-Prim-Texture-Tests
That kind of thing really helps with any UV mapping...get the grid to line up and be sized correctly with no distortion, and then your real textures will swap in perfectly. Sorry if you already knew about this.
Also, are you working in "Textured" mode in Blender? You should be able to see it change real-time so you can scale and translate your UV islands until it's perfect.
Overall I think this scene is great, so if you can solve the brick issue then you'll be in good shape.
great scene and Wig42, http://flic.kr/p/fFdEA3 might be helpful for seam marking and creating islands to erase the brick alignment problem,
I'll bet that if you asked some "pro" UV mapper modelers they say that the scene is completely built from scratch with every near by brick individually placed and the distant ones are just duplicates. Or Am I mistaken?
can I use the textures from this in blender game engine?
