This is a high poly John Cooper Works Mini rendered in Cycles.
Most of the interior is modeled to a fairly high degree of accuracy except for some features that were either too minor to worry about or I simply didn't have a decent reference image to work with.
Nothing fancy with the materials. This was mainly an exercise in modeling.
Thanks.
did you really make that? how long did you take to model that car? Anyway awesome
It took around 200 hours to complete between May and September. I was hoping to finish by late June early July however the interior proved to be a lot more work than I thought it would be. Cheers.
Spend 200h for modeling an existing car? why didn't you create something new? i respect you work and i admire you work anyway
LOL, didn't even notice the license plate, very cool. Added to staff picks. Great model.
Great model and great nodes setup. Any tips on how you learnt to model? Thanks
I think the most important thing I've learn't for modeling is perseverance. Even if somebody doesn't have a lot of natural talent they can still produce really high quality work if they have the tenacity to spend the time and get things right. I downloaded your Fiat Abarth because it is one of my favorite cars and I think you did a really good job with it. Cheers.
...OH...MY...GOD...This model is so perfectly modeled, with so much detail that Unity has gone mad. It split the mesh up into about 100 (literally) parts. Each part has the maximum of 65535 vertices. Even the front lights have about 5 parts each. Well done sir. You have managed to break one of the most powerful engines out there. Really though. Well done, amazing work.
Thats really cool dude
