This is the iPhone 7 model used in the Apple Shop At Home parody video for my channel, Classy Dog Films. The concept for it is that it's an iPhone built on old 80's technology, but which has the same functions as modern phones; for example, you can purchase apps for the phone, but they come on floppy disks instead of instant downloads. The switches and buttons (except for the keypad) come from Chris Kuhn's Controls and Gizmos .blend here: http://www.blendswap.com/blends/view/39159 You can see the WIP thread for this model and other behind-the-scenes stuff on BA: http://www.blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?302135-Apple-quot-Shop-At-Home-quot-Parody You can find the finished film here:

Thanks! It was a lot of fun coming up with ideas for how it should look!
Great concept and a delightful video! You say it weighs over 38 pounds, and has 400k of storage!?! And it's from Apple, all for less than $3500! Wow, at that price, I'm gonna download two! ;-)
Thanks for the share! (BTW: I still have my original 1984 Macintosh in my closet. With a printer and external floppy drive, it cost me $3500! - but it was worth it!)
Crap, I meant to post that into here. Lack of sleep!
Glad you enjoyed the video, Lomar! That's incredible that you've still got your original Apple! The Macintosh was the inspiration for the basic forms of this iphone 7 model.
Sure, carver! Feel free to use it however you want, it's all in the public domain! I'd love to see your game when it's complete!

I recognized the look! Would you believe your phone has better specs? My Macintosh came with 128k of RAM, ran at 8 MHz, and a 3.5 inch disk could hold all of 700k! Later, I upgraded to a 5 Meg hard drive - costing $1000 and I had to do a fairly tricky installation without help from the manufacturer. It was a revolutionary computer. Used mine for 10 years.
But I'd better shut up before I date myself even worse! Peace!
Very nice! If only real iPhones looked that good!
