Escena típica de desayuno argentino. Typical argentine breakfast scene.
it´s a tipical Río de la Plata infusion, like tea. Using a hollow gourd filled with yerba mate (mate herb), and a metal straw, it is filled with hot water and drunked.
The container has Mate (a type of tea which you can find at tea stores). A bit like rosehip tea.
The utensil is a utensil AND a straw, it's hollow and ends with a spoon-like end that has a sieve covering.
Normally the container is a gourd, but this one looks like it's made of wood.

Ah, I was trying to work that out: so one drinks the hot infusion through a straw ... well, that beats having to strain it through your teeth, as they had to in the days before tea bags, tea strainers not being 100% effective!
Thanks for the information.
And the texture image is of dry tea, whereas the final render is made to look a little like it is immersed in water, yet with only a couple of nodes. Quite clever.
Teapot seems to be the standard 'lighting test' model, okay but material could be better.
Mostly this looks good because good textures have been used (nothing wrong with this).
Same metal material is used for everything; teapot should have its own material.
In general, normal/bump mapping could be added everywhere; scratches for the metal.
HDRi texture (once again, a good texture) really makes the reflective metal look good.
Thanks for your comments and critics, I'm learning blender and your comments helps me to keep going!
Bonita escena! Muy conseguidas las luces y las sombras! Buen trabajo!
La primera vez que veo algo asi... Bien argentino! ¡Arriba Los Diseñadores Argentinos!!! Jajaja Buenisimo (;
Saludos!
Excelente, loco! Great scene and this is full of Argentinians! ;) Tamo todos! :D
The crackers are brilliant! What's in the container? The image texture looks like herbs. And is that a straw or some kind of utensil? Please forgive my ignorance of argentinian breakfasts :-)
