This is the result of a verry long project (67 hours) that I made to train myself. More than million polygons
Thanks, yeah I found a blue-print to work with but this car is too old for detailing and high res blue-prints so I used it only for proportions and work with a lot of references pics for the details. (apologies for my bad english)
The bitmaps are missing in the file. Can you reload the Blend-File with the bitmaps, please.
I can't do that cause I've lost them too :/ My computeur has crashed three days ago and I lost several data.
Oo....Brilliant detail, this car looks pretty realistic awesome, well-done. A 360 ° turntable animation would be cool.
I made it and it tooks about a day only for the ambiant occlusion at 200 samples :/ I will post it on youtube and share the link in next few days. (apologies for my bad english)

Yeah but as you can see, I'm not realy tidy and i have a lot of useless junks. And thanks for the comment on BA
excellent attention to detail, one for my 'fav models' file for sure. Thanks.
sweet merc! lets get this guy up on Sketchfab, I want to explore it interactively :)
Its a web platform for publishing your 3D models interactively, anywhere online - like Youtube, but for 3D models.
And we're partnered with the guys here at Blendswap, so you can embed the Sketchfab viewer right here next to your photos!
And this car would also look pretty brilliant on Blendernation i guess ;)
Thanks guys, I've already try for sketchfab but my file is really too heavy. (256 mega for 50 allowed)
Many details, congratulations. I'd like to do something similar. Which references used?
Thanks, I used a blueprint only for the global proportions and a lot of references pics for the tricky details.
Can somebody please render this today.. with no change in settings.. and open it in the latest available blender, render it and share the render performance with hardware info? I just hit F12 and typed this... will update my system's info after finishing rendering. I want to know if my system is good or not!
Thank you
Wow, that looks great. Fantastic work and thank you for sharing with us. A question, had you blue-prints for modeling ?
