Description:

This is a scene that I made for a Facebook banner for myself. Includes realistic Earth, Moon and the Normal, Diffuse and spec textures in the download. Enjoy! :)

    yeah, it's kind of awkward. but you can counter this by setting your render to 1024x1024 or like me 1280x1280 (i guess whichever square will work) and then compose your scene. i do this especially for BlendSwap screenshot...;-)

    yeah, but then again, anyone can setup the camera the way they like once they download blend file. that's my philosophy anyway. :-)) my thinking is, it's content that's important, this image is for preview only...

    OH WOW!! this is EXACTLY what i was looking for. AWSOME WORK! One question, the pictures included (textures, maps etc..). I assume you have created them? I am asking because i need to be sure they are published with the same license as the blend file :)

    The moon diffuse texture was a free texture and the the rest were generated by me :) The Earth texture was also free from NASA. Thanks for the feed back!
