please first render, to see result.
create a one cylinder, subdivide Vertical edges to 20 or more (for smooth result). add modifier Simple Deform set to twist. origin set to your pivot object (base object). Deform angle set to 1000(is optional number).
now in object mode move cylinder to one of side Edges of pivot object (base object).
use Boolean modifier to pivot object (base object) and Operation set to Differance and Object set to cylinder.
finish it.
note: better is use one copy of each object that you wish, and apply modifier for each target object.
