Here is my residential building set with different numbers of floors.
I modeled and textured this building from 17.03.2012 to 18.03.2012.
-3d-preview on Sketchfab -Test in Unity -Test in Unreal
1 - Create a new material
2 - Enable Transparency and Z Transparency
3 - Set the Alpha value
4 - Load in a reflection/environment Texture for the material
5 - Use Reflection as mapping Coordiates

hope this helps.
Amazing! with some scripting you could probably turn this into an add-on for blender.
Thanks, and good idea, a add-on with a lot of basic buildings and a simple possibility to change the size of each building, this would be great for creating fast backgrounds. Unfortunately I have no byp skills and no time to learn it.
You're welcome :) It would defiantly be a great add-on. If you ask around you might be able to find someone who could do it for you. just a thought though.
Well, if you ever have the time, I'd be willing to help develop it! Send me an email if you're interested: MadManMallard@yahoo.com
how did make glasses visible without rendering?
