The idea is good but in my opinion the shapes are meaningless and some are too blurred. I could not live with such wallpaper ...
... may be better with a few simple flower shapes, but they must be in focus.
As it chances, I was out in town yesterday and saw a carpeted shop window. The background was a deep blue with a short pile, patterned with four randomly rotated children's toys. It looked very effective and I made a note to attempt to model it as a nursery carpet.
