VERY Well done! It hadn't occurred to me to use A normal map with a diffuse in such a way with Cycles before. This is beautifully done. I have been wondering how normal maps should be used in cycles best, and making something this complicated that will almost never be viewed from close enough to warrant the excess detail that modeling such a chip would take, I must once again thank you for uploading this. I changed the render mode from CPU to GPU (As I am using an NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN) and the render speeds, as anticipated, skyrocketed.
