First time using the rigify add-on, it's really hard to determine the weight of every bone. Because of that, the deformation becomes really ugly. Note to self, really need to study human anatomy and good topology so the deformation won't seems unnatural.
not that good, because the topology is bad, so the deformation will looks funny on some poses.
I only got a zip file that opens into another zip file just like it.
why is that?
So... the rig is kinda screwed up and deformations aren't right. My first step in playing with this model was to just unparent the mesh from the rig, delete the rig, and start over on that. Also repairing the mesh and adding some edge loops at places like knees and elbows and such so that it bends nicely.
But the mesh is really nice, both the character and the gun. I am using this as a starting point for an anime character I am creating. Nice work, and thanks for sharing!
