A friend of mine asked me to make him a youtube/twitch introduction for him in blender. After messing around a bit, I found a style that actually looked kind of nifty. I rendered out his animation for him and then started over with a new blender file, trying to emulate the scene in a bit more quality. This is, more or less, the result. The font used in the preview image and in the animation linked to below was Automaton. Slap your own font and text in like the preview to get a nifty little animation that's easily adaptable to anything and everything. Slap your own music in and make it purty.

It's meant to be short, but eye-catching in the same regard. The movement at the top and bottom of the screen is a plane with a ocean and wireframe modifier, respectively. Rest is pretty self-explanitory, text comes in by the bevel factor. Nifty little bokeh in the video is simply a transparent plain with small halos moving towards the camera, bokeh'd with defocus.
Hope you guys find some use out of it!
tell me your yootube account so i can give you credit man. cause you deserve all the credit its AMAZING!!!
I like it. From the beginning, the main focus is on the text, with the "fill" at the top and bottom complementing it without distracting from it.
