If you like my work let's come to see my project, I will be very grateful! http://www.patreon.com/josepetri
A simple model of a simple toy =]
I had one when I was a kid, a very fun toy to play with a staircase. =]
Color made with texture =D
unfortunately did not record the production of this blend, but I used the bend modifier =]
Let me ask you, do you think a tutorial step by step to "how to modeling a slinky" would be appreciated? Maybe this will be my first tutorial in English! I will start to make some tutorials with my blends to help the project Patreon =P http://www.patreon.com/josepetri
Yes!!! (Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, I didn't know who you was talking too) I think it would be a GREAT idea!!! I'd be sure to subscribe! :D
The video is on! =D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tdo73AvXW6k&list=PLB60E7DF44DE66151 Please chek it and tell me if you like =]
josepetri, I saw your video. I'd recommend you to record the sound after the video, having made the necessary corrections to your english (which is no bad, but with practice it'd be better). Anyway, the video is perfectly understandable. Thanks.
Yes, I need to improve my speaking, I try some sites like SharedTalk or Duolingo, but I intent to go to New Zealand to training my speaking, after that I imagine that my English will be better =D And I want to record the audio after the video, with edition and with a script, but this will consume a time that I don't have for now =/ I just have 4 or 5 hours per day, and at this time I need to study English and do my own work, and the tutorial that I made need to fit in this short time. But if the things change I will have time to make a edition =] I try to work only with Blender, like a freelancer. Thank you for your comment, I appreciate the feedback =]
You are brilliant man. I absolutely love your work. This is, yet again, a fantastic blend.
Thank you for the compliment, but your work that is amazing, you work well with Blender and I'm glad that you enjoy my work. =]
Your models are great.
I played with a modern slinky and also a slinky that was manufactured in the 60s or 70s.. The older one was a much better quality and slightly bigger. The coloured one you made matches a coloured one I bought someone a few years ago.
Here in Brazil I just find a small one, made on China. I like the old toys, especially the Rubicks and another game called Gridlock HI-Q Puzze
I published the video tutorial of a Slink, please, check the video and tell me if you like =]

It is a very good video. Thank you for recording it in English, it was very clear. The very minor imperfections did not prevent my understanding. Thank you also for turning on the mouse button keys tool - that helps a lot. It was just the right speed. Very helpful.
Very well made! kind of funny, the simple deform modifier always reminded me of one of these.
