How did you get the blur effect after the initial render, and how did you get the separate emission planes to mix colors instead of showing the background? :)
Oh, i didn't exactly use a "blur" effect such as a Blur node in the compositing window, instead i used a very strong Depth Of Field focused on the cut out plane in front of the camera (which is black), this produces a blurry effect with everything behind that plane blurred out and sort of "blending in" to each other.
Bah, the actual pic included in the pic is rectangle, fit for widescreens and even maybe cellphone screens.
