This is the model created for one of my texturing tutorials. Uploading incase anyone wants to see it up close and study it.
Great model why not link the tutorial in the description?
I meant to and forgot; updated :)
Thanks for the tutorial :)
sweet model and great tutorial.
Awesome tutorial man.
You got golden hands....
I have seen people asking crazy money on some (pay)pages for models that are not even close to this
,and yes people notice that details,I know I do at least.....
Reminds me on golden age of "Legacy of Kain-Soul Reaver"
Thank you for your time.....
Awesome tutorial bro. I definitely hope you do more of these. Keep up the great work!
You are the Best texture painter I have ever seen live doing it while watching your tutorial and you talking. I have found a rock texture that looks very much like what you painted (not as a model for you, but as an example of how right you are.) with the different colors ( ala Cezanne style ) and the addition of the cracks and spales and even the small divots. Every time I look at the paint job I feel like I'm looking at a picture of real blocks of stone and/or concrete. The Cap and Base Blocks I cannot find a real texture that looks as good. I have seen concrete blocks that look like what you painted, but it is hard to find them as good as that. You must be a professional, goofing off between gigs. I would want you working for Indy L&M or Pixer. The trend in Textures and Modeling I have noticed tends to "Corpse Bride" which may Model, Animate, and Render fast, but looks DEAD. None of the Fat Katz at the top want to put any money into good looking and/or gorgeous detail. Its quite disappointing.
where Can I get Mac latest verion of blender with pie menu and this paint branch plugin?
WOW, great video with lots of info and advice. Thanks for sharing the model for study.
