Blender 2.7
Tracks was rigged using cloth simulation. It's only simple example of how to use cloth simulation in tracks rig.
Ask me if you have any questions.
Thanks for download!
Hi. Now it can not be twisted because all objects have global orientation. I think it will be possible if you change it on local orientation. I will try to do it in future and upload here.
I like this model, it'll prove useful for analytical and learning reasons! Just as a heads up though, the shortcut is 'Alt + A' and not 'Ctrl + A' as mentioned in the notepad file. For anyone else who's unsure as well, you hit 'Alt+A' to activate the simulation, and then you manually move the armature itself as an object (at least, that's how I got it working).
Can you make the video to tutor for me ? Please , I've just used Blender
this is good, if your vehicle has only one track and is stuck in the center of the world and capable of moving only forwards or backwards. The moment you turn, try to add second track, aka offset the first or anything other than what scene shows, it breaks. so yeah. If your vehicle is single tracked, as shown in thumbnail, can move only forwards or backwards, as shown in thumbnail, dont download it.
can you upload a demo? Also can it turn and reverse? Ok just downloaded it and turning seems to be an issue. The best one I've seen for download so far though so great job!
I've been working on a track rig for about 3 days and might have it after some tweaking.
