    You can if you want to but it's not required. It's similar to Renderfarm.fi. They made it free for the public just a few years ago. You just upload your packed blend and make sure it follows their rules, and you're good to go..

    @lujaguru, It's usually a little slower compared to paid renderfarms and also depends on how 'epic' your scene is but each of my sessions took on average 2 weeks to complete. Here are my rendered sessions if you're interested: http://burp.renderfarming.net/my_gallery.php?userid=13651

    There is also a little waiting time for a moderator to check the file to make sure rules are followed, but they're really friendly and will start rendering your work within a day.
