Description:
This electric transformer fits a road scene or other such scenes.. I felt its need when doing a certain animation and kinda couldnt get one to put at the roadside. It will make a scene more realistic rather than leaving it just open. Also, I find it more easy to use electric posts rather than trees because apparently in blender trees always do not turn out to be as we expect them....well, thats according to me.

Written July 17, 2014well Im not an electrical engineer by profession and the types of transformers may be a mystery to me...anyway I don know its type but basically I am not from the UK.....I am from Africa,Kenya and have always seen such at the roadside

Yes, we can't go far in the UK without seeing electrical kit. Transformer types differ between manufacturers and between countries. We have different types in the UK, e.g. Lucy, at least in the South East. Is this from a particular manufacturer, do you happen to know? In which country would you see these? I ask, because a strange piece of equipment would stand out! Or maybe it's your own design. It's a good idea. Could break up the monotony of a background. There are a lot of pylons marching over our countryside as well. Whereas some countries have all their power lines underground.
