Description:

This is something I've always wanted to do, Gothic architecture. Must say I enjoyrd doing the windows.

Theres 3 previews, the mmain scene, a close up of the windows and just for fun a render without the volumetrics. The non-volumetric rendered in 1/10th the time of the volumetric one.

Hope you Like it, comments and critique are welcome.

Cheers, Wayne

I love Gothic architecture. The windows are splendid and the tomb texture is superb. The scene has a lovely quality about it, drawing the viewer in to examine the tomb, and then to appreciate the stained glass in the window.

If it were really dusty, as you describe it, there would be dust motes floating around in the currents of air warmed by the sunlight, but only visible in the actual rays. Perhaps they could be created by a particle system bounded by the shape of the sun rays. The swirling dust is all that is missing from your scene :-)

Reminds me of Sir Dan's crypt in the first Medievil game :)

Wow this is amazing! Just a small question. Does the blend come with the volumetric lighting?
