----- rig controls -----
-red controls should be rotated

Nice work, but I'm afraid this rig will be quite hard to animate. . . You can limit the rotation and location of rig controls using (bone) constraints, and also automate things like the shoulder blades according to the leg upper bone rotation with drivers. You can also use custom shapes with bones, making rotation control easier. I would suggest studying bone constraints and constraints in general (specifically limit location/rotation, track to, and the action constraint(my favorite)) as well as poles for the IK constraint, and then learn about drivers, and then experiment with custom bone shapes. With this model you have already gone further than most do, so you are well on your way. Good luck with future versions!
thanks for compliments and advices ! :) I plan on learning this stuff when im done in the army = )
Very nice, check how to modify rigify for quadrapeds here http://www.blendswap.com/blends/view/58522, not as pretty but has a lot of what kaki is saying as far as rigging.
Cheers
Can you please tell me how to get the texture with fur? The model right now is flat, there isn't any fur on the tiger, and I was really hoping to get it like your picture. Please help me as soon as possible!
great work! but how can animate the face? i didnt saw any bone for it. only a bone for open and close the mouth!
you have a great talent mabye one day you will work in a movie industry,BTW the fur can be a little better
Really good animated model. My testing allowed with shaders to create various hues, white Bengal and albino tiger... and adjust the hair particles to reflect northern tigers and southern tigers as well as males and females...so very good. the con i found was in the rigging which is not hard to fix. only checked the Right front paw, but it needs: 1 restraints to stop deformation (cgcookie, rigging tutorial has the fix) and 2. the paw was not attached to the leg so the leg moves but the paw stays still.. 3. there are several green and red ball controls that do not appear to be attached to anything..
but overall this saves me a bunch of time and with a little mod to the facial, panthers are easily created...
This is a really good man be proud, I'm planning to use this for face expressions does it work with it?
Meus parabéns por compartilhar o seu belo trabalho. Sou novato no universo da CG, mas são trabalhos magníficos como o seu que motivam qualquer novato. Mais uma vez, parabéns!!!
Brilliant model - I am however having issues key-framing the tail... any ideas what the problem could be?
This tiger looks class. uno. may be a bit realistic for the task i need to use it for but nonetheless this is really good. great job
From all the comments, this must be pretty good, but i can't see any preview image, and when i click download it takes me to the 404 error page :(
oh, and apparently it counted my click as a download! Grrh! now i'm out!
That looks very cool. Thank you for sharing it with us. Great.
