A set of rigged tank tracks (and a low-poly vehicle to go with them). The rigging is done using vertex parenting, constraints, and a Curve modifier. To use the rig, simply drag/rotate the master parent (cube).
This was created for a tutorial on CGCookie.com:

No, since it uses a curve modifier, as well as vertex parenting, which is not supported in Unity3D.
i know it's way late reply, but i just saw this rig and maybe people could use some help. since its just one-way animation, you can bake frame-by-frame until it has awesome loop (dont overkill by 360 rotation, just one track overlapping another is enough to trick the eye) and use it. for different speeds, increase or reduce rotation rate, export and blend animations inside game engine.
If I had half a brain, I'd Download this...... But, I don't have a brain, sooooooo...... I should download it and study it, but I'm too lazy :| Anyway, I watched the teaser for this, and needless to say, I drooled a little nit XD LOL! Seemed like a fantastic tutorial! Keep up the great work! :D
Z rotation for 360 cause error of track direction ... this error is not good...
Can this be used in Unity?
