This is an second OpenGL powered lens flare pack (to GLFlares) with 20 new presets. These flares have more streamlined rigging features and should run slightly faster in the VSE. There are no instructions with the file... but they should be used in the same way that the GLFlares pack describes.
The flares seem to work better if they are used as separately rendered layers and then composited in the VSE than if they are composited as scenes in the VSE... just a suggestion.
I have also included a folder of flare elements for your own creations.

Thanks for the woork you have done plus providing this for free to us. It is really appreciated a lot.
Ditto what alamoodi said - the fact that you took the time here is great!
Incredible work ! Thank you so much for that ! That's give me so many new ideas.
I have to pay you a beer, for sure !
As previous user of AE with OpticalFlares must say: You make my Blender World a better place :) Thank You!
Signed up for Blendswap JUST to get these. Eye-popping awesome my man!
Thank you very much for sharing this with us. I have also been watching all your tutorials,I think they are really great and please do not pay attention to those who get upset for you being able to get better, similar or equal results using Blender as an alternative to those others payed software.
Keep up at the AWESOME good work
Really awesome, seriously. I plan on making extensive use of this. Thanks very much :D
Whoa, these are sharp! Great work, for sure I will have fun playing with them :D
Cool. Only thing I can't figure out is how to render it with transparent background. Is there a way, or is it a limitation of using OpenGL rendering here?
Hi boss I'm a great fan of your GLSL Flares. I actually always work in GLSL because of its fast rendering. I added a trick for visibility of the flare. Please have a look at this work : blends/view/91808
it's hard to explain what I have done... it use xray visibility and driver...
please be OK to use this trick in your own work, eventualy for V3. It's a friendly share (CC0). Greatings, Mokauno
can you use this in 2.8? looks useful, a refresh and a tut might be cool
Way cool! In my opinion, they look as good as the Video Copilot lens flares. :)
