Needed a Porsche 962 (Le Mans edition) for a school project presentation, but since every model I found was super expensive I made one myself. Textures are packed into file.
(If you're interested, the project presentation can be found here)
Thanks! I think today there are so many talented modelers that you really need something special to be able to work with it professionally. For games, that is most likely stuff like game logic and rigging, which i know nothing of :P
I read many Naghty Dog guides on How to join an big AAA developing studio. Modeling isn't the only important thing, it's also solving problems, you have to have some experience from working on any AAA game, to get to big AAA studio. If you want to get to some AAA studio, you have adapt(eg. don't make only cars or also to move to another city for work), if u wanna get some work. If you want help, I know some people at 2K Czech and at Warhorse studios, I could help you, if u want to, you are really talented, after a few years at these studios you could work for eg. Naughty Dog ;)
Damn! Watched the video... Gotta say I love it :) Very nice work.. :)
And as for the modeling for a large shop. I thinks its a lot more than just pushing polys that they are looking for. Its more how to convey feeling through a media. Story telling and such. It's about the thought you put into a composition and such ... I think.. Ya know what I mean? :)
... why arent you working for the grand turismo or forza series this is outstanding how can this be possible ? genius work
