Various containers that could be used in a medieval scene (and maybe others too).
Included are:
6 variations of a barrel5 variations of an open-top crate3 variations of rectangular crates4 variations of square crates11 variations of wicker baskets2 variations of wicker plates3 variations of buckets6 variations of pottery jugs2 variations of pottery pots3 variations of sacks
All textures are done either by me or open source. For the open sacks I've included 3 different textures that can be used: Wheat, Wheat Flour and Peas.
Hope you get it to work without a lot of effort. I choose to do the textures in blender internal because I haven't used cycles that much and I think internal is good enough for a small animation and will also render quicker. But I guess I should look more closer at cycles as well :)
There is something funny about this model that you forget to explain... Three of the wicker baskets have a cover, which are not visible by default (ok, only visible in render mode). If you want to make the covers visible, you need to enter edit mode, select the faces of the cover and flip its normals. Thanks for your models.
Ah, great that you noticed. I often import the models into Unity and then I notice if I've missed things like recalculating the normals when copying parts of the mesh. I didn't do that on this blend.
Thank you very much for generous CC0. I'll try to use some of your medieval stuff in a small fantasy video game I'm working on. When it's done, I'll post a link.
You're welcome and hope you find some use for it :) Looking forward to see what you do with it!
Love all this stuff. Thanks Daniel. Brilliant work retaining a consistency of work.
I might use it in my medieval scenes though I will have to convert the textures to Cycles which should not be a problem, as far as I've seen. Thanks
