I never actually watched the film yet so I'm not sure how dark the spots are and what the color looks like in the movie but try searching images of Baymax on Google and you'll see the spots. I think they'e purple but not too contrasty. Hehe.

Soooo i'm trying to make it so he's in a waving pose. How do you do that?

Do you want him to pose like the one on the preview picture? Just move around the hand and the elbow point until you pose him right.

It also doesn't let me change the position of some bones...

I made that rig with Inverse Kinematics so some bones may not move the way you want it. It was meant to be that way. Just use the movable bones to pose him. It's actually made easier than moving individual bones. Also...My model of Baymax is not perfect. hehe. So there will be limitations to the poses he can make. :)

Actually...It's just Doodle Notes.. hehe. I'm glad that my Baymax model served you as best as it could. XD and Nice animation. Just improve the Camera track and take time to animate the movements more fluidly. :) You'll do great if you keep practicing! XD

In the movie, he was lit from behind with Hyperion, and this model doesn't have any transparency could this effect be replicated in blender with Subsurface scattering and transparency? Any ideas?

how do i move his arm?

He has placed the bones on layer 11. In order to move him, you select the armature and then enter pose mode and you can pose him how ever you want.

P.S. It is not the best rig.
