Hi, guys. This scene is rendered with Cycles and image textures were properly packed. Regards.
Hi, FayZee. I haven't any doubt about the legal things you mention according to UK laws. May be this building is still under construction and by the time it's finished all the safety requirements will be ready ;). Let's pretend the ramp isn't for wheelchairs but for supermarket carts. You'd guessed it: this building isn't in UK. Thanks very much for your comment and the next time I model a house or building in a british style, I'll take into account all the things you pointed out. Be happy and regards.
I love the marble texture of the floor. And I love the spacious feel of the foyer.
Please don't shoot me, but if this were in the UK I doubt it would have passed the building inspection :-)
Our health and safety inspectors would insist on a hand rail between the steps and the wheelchair ramp, a grippable surface for the ramp, and possibly a less steep incline. Without the hand rail, both ends of that short wall beside the ramp are trip hazards. They would possibly also insist on grip strips for the edges of the steps.
Lecture over ...
Maybe it's different in your country ;-)
