I wanted to test the release candidate version for upcoming Blender 2.72, so I thought of doing a little Jordu Schell homage, using his 50's alien head design for a 1-hour sketch. (you can watch the video HERE)<br style="color: #333333; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 17px;" />I used Dyntopo for the sculpt, and 3 vertex-color layers for the final render. I really like how the color palettes are now integrated within the tool panels. I used the old palettes plugin, and didn't quite like its layout, or workflow.
Then, I decided to do some retopology, bake the textures, and rig the character, to give something back to my subscribers as the video got +10,000 views. Enjoy!
Its a Lovely piece of work, i want to use this in my game as part of Dialog script for the Purple Alien at the moment., will put my in credits list. My game is under Cco license...
