So Far, I think this is the theme I have been looking for. That is I imagined one similar to this. Multicolored and related to functionality. Very good idea and execution. My reason for not indulging in this very endeavor to this extent was because I didn't know how to quickly ( relatively speaking ) find out what the names for the various areas were/are. How did you? Where if any, is there a map of what are the names for the various little areas within the UI? Not serious, but curious. Thank you very much.

If you right-click or press the icons in the lower left of any panel.... You will get a list of choices of panels to switch to....next to each icon in the list is its name ....for instance the timeline bar at the bottom is has a clock icon to represent it, the text editor has a capital T...and the video editor has the film icon to represent video...hope this answers the question, get UI tutorials from YouTube .... Search for user interface tutorials for blender 2.7...

Also... Under the file menu is the user settings/themes/ options is the list where you customize and save your own themes....it took a lot of trial and error to figure out which settings effect each interface item, but the end result was the goal thAt i developed the theme...compare the theme colors to the colors in my themes settings for each editor panel and you will get an idea which ones are which....too bad most you tubes don't use this color in their videos.... I think I might start using the colored version in a blender UI intro tutorial...!!! Will let you know when it's done...

The latest version you've made, should be the default in every download from now on, and pay you at least ten cents per. or greater. The embossed fx is a delight.

I love this theme. It's so much more intelligible -- I don't have to squint at those side tabs on the left now. It took me about 90 seconds to get used to the colors. Thanks! :-)

asteril... I'm the creator of the EZread color blender theme...you sent me a nice comment in august 2017 regarding your appreciation... I just wanted to see if you think it has helped your further understanding of blender's functionalities as well as whether it has significantly help your productitvity and reduced your fatigue while using blender....I will be updating the theme for 2.8 once they nail down the new interface specs. later this year...If you have any suggestions, feel free to let me know...

Oh my god!! This is so pretty! ^_^ Thank you for making such a nice theme!! I'm new to Blender and the default really hurts my eyes and I hate squinting at everything because I just want to work, but I love the simplicity of it (also it has more of a retro look to it, which makes me happy hehehe I can't stand modern UI)
