This is a pack of 8 low-poly high rise buildings with single layer baked low-res textures (with ambient occlusion), reflections, night-time window illumination and safety aircraft lights. These models are created and textured for use in OpenGL real-time or viewport rendering. They may be used with the Blender internal render engine or the user could map the textures for use in Cycles.
The baked textures are created from personal and open source libraries and the distribution of these textures along with the models in this pack is in complete legal compliance with all original source providers.
The pack is provided with an open license. Credit to the author is NOT needed.
Append the buildings into your project, group them together, and apply the group to a particle system on a plane to create city blocks.
Changed underlying material to Fresnel and added large overhead point light to simulate vertical light fall-off and ambient occlusion.
Decreased amount of glowing windows to reflect a more realistic night-time look. Changed window glow to multiply mask with material color options. Changed window colors for default variety.
Added black color mix node to reflection masks (Both Day and Night) to regulate the amount of reflection. Access via "TAB" function on material in the material node editor.
Enabled selection function for buildings and lights by default (making appending smoother).
