Description:

I made this balcony scene from inspiration by "the balcony scene" in 'Romeo and Juliet' by William Shakespeare. The balcony didn't look old as I would have wanted but this is so far good to go. I accorded more emphasis to the materials themselves than the modeling. Basically the modelling is very simple but the well created materials give it a sense of photorealism at the same time giving it a quick render.

    It is very realistic. The paint on the brickwork makes it so for me, as well as the ageing on the concrete balcony base.

    Amazing work, does lack a bit of story, maybe old vines crawling up the building or somebody staring out the window. Brilliant work though.
