This originally was supposed to be just batteries but I thought I might as well put them in something, then came the flashlight XD

    Is the grip on the torch done with geometry, a texture or some sort of discplacemtn with a texture?

    oh that was made with just simple geometry. I used the poke tool then scaled all the center points outward.
