Notice how he did not set this as fan-art. This is correct. A wind-turbine is not a creative work: instead it is a utilitarian creation who's form is dictated by it's use. Thus it is not protected by copyright (instead by patent, but that is largely irrelevant here). Good job at getting the legal aspects correct.
