This is a newer version of my old BMW M3 model that I had previously uploaded.
I fine tuned the model in Blender 2.62 a bit and then rendered it in Cycles
I get just pink like the textures arent packed properly or am i upacking wrong?
It took a couple of minutes, but I figured out what was causing the pink renders. It's the HDRI file (or lack of). Just switch it out for another one, or set it to a sky, and all is well. :)
I would not suggest that because. The model has a 367,000+ Verts so unless you have a beefy computer then i would say no. Now in the game engine it runs fine even with my crappy laptop, but the development stage is slow and laggey. today i tested just 1 car in the game engine and and the results were fine the game engine was running smoothly but like i said the blender in the development stage was slow, but then i tested 16 of the cars and the Verts count came to be 5,878,800 + and the game stage was laggey as well. SO BOTTOM LINE: unless your game is specifically for beefy computers i would not suggest making it online but if it is a single player game, i would suggest being gentle with the amount of cars you put in the game. And for development stage when using high vert counts like this, do what you can with your own computer, but if the lag gets to much i would say look at the Optimal (production-grade) hardware specs blender shows and get a new computer: https://www.blender.org/download/requirements/
I hope this post was helpful, and i wish the best on your journey of game developing.
Great model, thank for the upload.
