Written December 18, 2025As a projection technician in movie theaters for twenty years, your reels look pretty darned close to the real thing! There are several kinds off reels used in different phases of operating a cinema. There would be reels for daily use in the projector. There would be other ones used for shipping. When you get a movie, you take the film off the shipping reels and put it on your own "house" reels. Then you'd have to put the film back onto the shipping reels before returning it to the studio.
Anyhow, your reels look very close to a set of shipping reels. They look like they MIGHT be able to work in a reel projector. (If you could make them IRL.)
