Can individuals with osteoporosis receive dental implants safely? I understand that osteoporosis can affect bone density, which might complicate the dental implant process. Are there specific considerations, precautions, or alternative treatments for patients with osteoporosis who require dental implants? Additionally, how does the condition impact the success rate and longevity of dental implants, and what pre-implant assessments are typically recommended?
Yes, people with osteoporosis can safely receive dental implants, but there are several factors to consider https://nccconline.org/blog/article/san-you-have-teeth-implants-with-osteoporosis. Careful planning and consultation with a specialist physician are important to the success of the procedure. Patients with osteoporosis often take bisphosphonates, which can interfere with bone healing. It is important to discuss possible risks with your doctor and choose an individual treatment plan. Nice model, but you should work on your rigging. Try lessening your deform radii with your bones, as some of them affect other body parts.
Since your model (arms, legs, whatnots) are in separate parts, I'd recommend manually painting out weightings on body parts that shouldn't be moving. (ie. Your arm stretches the body left/right-wards when the arms swing forwards/back)
