Color can give a nice, creepy setting in your environment. In this scene, you pretty much nailed it. Except for the blue potion kinda just sitting there, it's very out of place and ruins the atmosphere a little.

Also, make sure the character runs faster when he sees Herobrine. We can't see his emotions, so we rely on his body language to understand what's he's feeling. So make sure your character runs a little faster than that.
Good lighting (for the most part), but gotta make the animation a bit less robotic. Smooth animation isn't a cakewalk, unfortunately.
