This is the first plane i modeled in blender, and wanted to go all out on the detailing of the plane. The plane has a fairy interesting history which is what also drew me to attempting it.
Oh yeah your right. My original file has the right name. Must have thought to myself that I knew it off by heart.
What was the history of the plane that inspired you to model it? Just curious, as I am a history buff.
Well it was a few things. I'm quite a history buff as well and find ww2 a very iterating period. There were only 105 of them produced and the primary use of them was to be a kamakaze. Suprisingly this design barely lasted a year as it was retired just after the end of the war. While when it was armed with weapons and it's main bomb it was very affective it was also a very easy target for other aircraft. When it was unarmed however it was one of the faster planes around.
Thanks. I'm always interested in what inspires people to model a piece of history.
Looks fine from here but I'm downloading to take a better look. Shouldn't it be spelt Tsurugi? Cheers!
