Description:

I visited the technical museum of vienna and what i saw there were just great ideas for a blender projekt.. so i started with this little creations of russia during the cold war. the asch-82T plane engine. This baby provides you with the power of 1900 horses, eats 186-533L per hour of flight and weighs about 1.3 Tones. I had to stop myself with the details because it just got to big.Enjoy, give Credit, dont kill other people etc.

Remarkably well done model of a super engine of WW2 vintage, it must have given as much work to model as how much this brute weighs :-) That transverse disk in the middle is rather blank, perhaps there will be a 2nd edition sometime in the future, this part appears to be rather hard to detail so it's understandable that the author didn't finish it.

A fine model of a great and historically meaningful engine!

That's very well done, a lot of detail, looks like a lot of work. I'll download it tonight, I always wondered how these ambient-occlusion-only renders are done, really good to show off the details of a model. I'd be surprised if it's just a diffuse shader and nothing more... Thanks for sharing :)
