The Douglas DC-3 is a fixed-wing propeller-driven airliner. Its cruise speed (207 mph or 333 km/h) and range (1,500 mi or 2,400 km) revolutionized air transport in the 1930s and 1940s. Its lasting effect on the airline industry and World War II makes it one of the most significant transport aircraft ever made. (source Wikipedia)
nice detail I planning to use this model in a short presentation for a group 4th and 5th graders thx. I'll ref this page
Hi phxbug,
Thank you for your comments. And I would be happy to see the presentation that you prepare when it is ready :)
I am astonished with the level of detail for both the plane exterior (flaps, ailerons ...) and interior: cockpit details (e.g. individual instrument parts, metallic information plates, cockpit door latches, yoke and window frame details), passenger cabin, overhead bins, etc.
A generous contribution to say the least.
hello, thankx for this marvelous work, it is looking impressive, i am new in blender but i downloaded it and open it and tried to texturing. i cant do it correctly i dont know the reason, i can use just one texture. for example: if i would put the main plane texture on it everthing on the plane texturing with the main texture of the plane, if i would try to texture seats this time whole plane become to textured by seat textures, is there any info to help??
I think as new you are using Blender 3.x....My models are all in Blender 2.79b. So incompatible with new versions of Blender :(
