An easy way to use a matcap in your renders! You can easily change the matcap texture by changing the image in the texture tab under materials. And, you can use it for free! You don't have to give me credit :D
I'm making a cco video game, and looking for volunteer modelers
especially my commander needs a skin.but his head has been done.
project is here http://www.tozan35.weebly.com
It Sounds like it could be used for lava, and hot rocks.or stuff inside great metal vats.
Woah neat! I'd like to help where I can although, I cant promise to be that helpful :P
it is a volunteer project, people are more than welcome to help develop this bizzare crazy game if mine becaus this game involves making different alien worlds.. I do need Loana to be modeled (Research Scientist) party member. But If you don't do human models, then I do need some nasty evil looking Flans for my sewer level under Vinus to be modeled (if possible), flans that are covered with greenish dirty Slime so it shows that its been spending time down in all the sludge. I also need a couple of old looking URNS to be modeled. A cracked half broken urn as well as an urn with a lid on it. it can have an intracate pattern design also on the urn/. My email is up on my website under Game Dev , So I have the ideas script now for my game, but not posess all the knowledge to bring all those ideas out of my script into to life in 3d.
I'm new to Blender.
I like the look of it, but can it actually be used as a Matcap or am I supposed to use viewport rendering?
Hello, thanks for sharing, Can i use the materials for commercial in an addon with GPL license?
What exactly does it do, what can it be used for ?
