This is my main skin shader as seen in most of my human characters. It's built with extendability, and stylization-friendly options in mind. Dual layer SSS and gloss, Fresnel, Micro-displacement, etc. Cycles. CC0 NOTE: the preview image is for illustration only! This blend does NOT include the hair, glasses, hat or eyes... Only the head model itself and the SSS skin shader.
ok real talk the skin shader looks great but nothing has ever terrified me more than that preview image in all my born days
Haha you're right.. It came out darned creepy. funny how just removing the eyes makes it so scary. Maybe I'll replace it with the eyes version. Who knows? I could be scaring people away with this hehehe!
My nephew was like OMG he does not have eyes what happened to him? He will be happy to see this one, great work.
Great. I've seen a lot of skin shaders, but you are the first person to make and share a black skin shader. Thanks very much(especially for the cc0).

I love your work. Im starting with this world of 3d just 3 months ago. I need to know wich programs do u use and if you could make a tutorial of how you work with them. Thanks in advance.
You are really awesome! Thanks a lot. You should upload more textures and other things. I will buy your products. :)
FYI- For others encountering the same problem.
This download has a .zip.html extension. I get an error when I try to uncompress after changing the extension to .zip.
I had to change the extension to .7z (and use 7-zip) to extract this.
Hey thanks a ton! Finally a good skin shader. Commendable effort.....
N really thanks a lot!
Cool, its give me an idea to create some animation. Thx for the blend file :) ~thepoper
