This is a "smaller" piece of a bigger project of mine but as usual it got out of hand. :) The model is fully rigged and textured.
Much effort went into the texturing process and the blue armor is the most complex node-setup I've done. Almost everything is procedural to keep detail and edges when zooming in. I had to handpaint the flaked paint on the edges but figured out a way to "proceduralize" the image inside of cycles, it now work up close to. The only thing in the final material that still is a image are the decals on the armor.
It's been a while since I've done rigging myself and had a blast rigging something mechanical. I'm quite pleased with the outcome even though I'm sure it could be done better. Some of the bones depend on scaling so try that if nothing else works.
As always, love some feedback and if you do anything cool - tell me!
