The study room is a small level for the blender game engine. Originally created for the unreal engine a few years ago I decided to re-build it in blender to see what the BGE is capable of.
In order to render transparent materials and real time reflections correctly you need to run the game with the standalone player.
Total tris count: 63,391
Fantastic work! I worked for over a year in BGE trying to accomplish high quality graphics, and what you have done sir, is just that!
Hello! Your demo was running 11fps, it was taking too much the raster. i found why. The Modifiers was pumping the raster like crazy! Pls dont use them for the bge! I dont know how the ue4 do it with them. :)
This is absolutely fantastic. Thank you very much. I have a bug to report, though.
I was trying to bake out the textures and found that I couldn't for the floor. I don't know if it's just a bug in the current version of Blender or not, but the stuff that's being done in the lower part of the floor material(Floor_01_Mat)'s node tree doesn't seem to register properly in Blender Internal and makes the material unbakeable. Not sure if there's anything to be done about it.
You can still mostly bake it if you remove the link to the Material node's Normal input, so it's not that big of a deal(once you know) if you don't mind missing out on that shader element, but I figured I'd post something about it since this is really high quality.
For what it's worth I was using Blender 2.77.
Hi, thanks to share your objects.
I will use them in a SuperTuxKart.net racing track!
A mate of mine at the local pub in Belfast wouldn't shut up about his winnings last Friday. To prove him wrong, I logged into https://spinogambinocasino.org expecting to lose my tenner immediately. Instead, I got stuck into the video poker and doubled my money in an hour. The interface is clean and doesn't lag, which is a huge plus. I guess I owe him a pint now for the recommendation since it actually paid off.
Another great upload, Oliver. I'll take a look :D
