This is a platform I created for a scene. My goal was to create something close to photo realism while maintaining fast render speeds. It is Low-Polyish with simple textures. I created the textures using CC0 images from pixabay.com
what @OliverMH said. plus why have so many copies of the same materials? you only need 3 of them rather than a new copy for each piece of wood.
Thanks, sorry about that this is my first time packing a blend. I copied the textured plank then remapped the UV's so it must have created a new instance of the texture each time. Any tips for managing it better in the future?
nope no tips for better managing since it's never done that to me as far as i know. so it sounds like a bug because remapping the uv's shouldn't add new copies of a material/texture rather than just using the same ones.
I just upvoted your blend. However you have the same texture packed like 13 times which makes the file large when it could be just 2-3mb I guess.
